🔷 Akim today, Mayor of the city M. Aitenov received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Kazakhstan S. Niyazhodzhayev. The parties discussed important projects that will benefit both sides in the future in the field of tourism, trade, industry, culture. M. Duisenbekovich noted the effectiveness of Tashkent’s positive experience in attracting tourists and expressed readiness to establish partnership relations in the future in the development of the tourism direction of the metropolis.

🔷 Proposed to establish new tourist routes for attractions on the Shymkent-Tashkent route. The Uzbek side invited the Shymkent delegation to the upcoming international exhibition of artisans in Tashkent.
Today, economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan is developing rapidly. The most important area of bilateral cooperation is mutual trade.

🔷 The main export products of the country are food products, metals, energy carriers, cattle, petroleum products, chemical products and building materials. Uzbekistan supplies fruit and vegetable products, textiles, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, machinery, chemical products and building materials to Kazakhstan.
Cooperation between the parties in the field of transport is also expanding. This, in turn, opens the door to new prospects for communication in the tourism industry. In general, there are new initiatives in the further development of trade and economic cooperation.
