The regional qualifying stage of the contest “The best product of Kazakhstan-2023″ has started in Shymkent. More than 70 entrepreneurs of the city presented their products at an open-air event on Arbat Square.

Novice manufacturers and giant companies take part in the competition, which popularizes domestic products and their quality among the population.

Not only large enterprises, but also representatives of small businesses will be able to introduce themselves here. Deputy Akim of the city Maksut Isakhov, who visited the exhibition of products of domestic manufacturers, noted that production has increased 2 times in the city in five years, the akimat has started the construction of industrial zones.

– After Shymkent received the status of a city of republican significance, there was a big breakthrough in economic development. Over these five years, the volume of production has increased by 2 times. Now there are 5 production sites with a total area of 869 hectares in the city, where more than 13 thousand new jobs have been created. At the production site of $ 358 billion, 337 investment projects in tenge are being implemented. Today, the occupancy rate of the existing production zones has exceeded 90 percent. Due to the increased demand, work is underway to create 5 new production areas with an area of 867 hectares. 284 investment projects worth KZT 400 billion have been implemented in these territories, about 12 thousand people have been employed. The opening of more production facilities leads to the fact that consumer goods are produced in our country, which leads to lower prices.
