During the visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan to China, a memorandum was signed

During the visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K. K. Tokayev to the People’s Republic of China, a memorandum on the establishment of mutual brotherhood between the cities of Shymkent and Xi’an was signed.
To this end, from July 4 to July 8, representatives of Shymkent held business meetings in the city of Xi’an of the People’s Republic of China. As part of the delegation headed by the Deputy akim of the city of Shymkent M. Isakhov @isakhov_maksut were heads of departments, akims of districts and deputies of the city maslikhat, representatives of education and business.
Negotiations with the heads of local administrations were held at the City Hall of Xi’an. During the working meeting, the issue of economic development of Xi’an and the city of Shymkent, as well as the opening of the Shymkent – Xi’an flight were considered.
The special group met with the chairman of the party committee Fan Hongwe and representatives of the party.
During the event, bilateral B2B meetings were organized between the akimats of Shymkent and Xi’an, representatives of the city maslikhat and the people’s Kurultai, representatives of higher educational institutions, private and medium-sized businesses, memoranda of mutual cooperation were signed and special enterprises equipped with advanced technologies were visited.

As a result of business meetings of representatives of Shymkent city in Xi’an city of the People’s Republic of China, the following sides of mutual cooperation were signed:

1) Bilateral Memorandum of Understanding between JSC “Shymkent SEC” and Chambers of Commerce of Xi’an (China Council for The Promotion of International Trade Xi’an Sub-council);

2) A bilateral Memorandum between JSC “Shymkent SEC” and the Xi’an Economic Development Zone Management Committee.

The parties discussed issues and proposals for further development of bilateral cooperation.
