Yerzhan Zhaksylykovich was born in the village of Shayan, Baydibek district, South Kazakhstan region.

Education-higher, 2002-graduated from M. Auezov South Kazakhstan State University.

From 2005 to 2007 he worked in the internal affairs bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Astana;

From 2007 to 2014 he worked in the Transport Control Committee of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Astana.

2014-2015 Astana, Head of the Situation Center of the Transport Committee of the Ministry of Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

2015-2018 Head of the Transport Control Inspectorate for the Kyzylorda region of the Transport Committee of the Ministry of Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kyzylorda;

2018-2019 Head of the Shymkent Transport Control Inspectorate of the Transport Committee of the Ministry of Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

2019-2020 Head of the Shymkent Transport Control Inspectorate of the Transport Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

From 2020 until his appointment, he held the position of head of the Shymkent City Administration.
