It was created with the participation of the Head of State in 2010. This is the first industrial site in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the territory of which is 337 hectares. The project portfolio consists of 87 projects totaling nearly 90 billion tenge. It employs 7,300 people. The leading enterprises are “Hill” world-class plant which is producing lubricants, “Firma Dana” plant for the processing of sheet glass, “Yug Plast” plant producing polyethylene pipes and others.

The leading enterprises are “Karlskrona LB AC” steel mill, “Asia Trafo” transformer plant, “Shymkent Pharmacy” plant for the production of sterile drugs in the form of infusions, and others.

It was created in 2005. "Ontustik" special economic zone is aimed at implementing projects on priority activities in the fields of light, chemical and petrochemical industries. The project portfolio consists of 13 projects for a total amount of 29.5 billion tenge. It employs 320 people. The leading enterprises are “Bal Textile” carpet factory, “Alem-BT” socks-stocking factory, “Lux Shoes” shoes factory and others.

It was created in December 2017. The total area is 34 hectares. "Shymkent" TLC provides a full range of logistic services of responsible storage with different temperature conditions, including the acceptance, selection of orders and shipment of goods of client companies, as well as additional services related to the supply and cleaning and unloading of railway cars and large-capacity containers, customs registration, inventory and other services.
